Frequently Asked Question

Answers to questions we get asked a lot

The legalities of buying a mobile home.

Spanish law treats mobile homes as caravans. Purchasing a mobile home is very simple, consisting only of a simple IVA sale of a good if new, and a private sale contract if second hand.

In all sales of mobile homes onsite, the Campsite acts as an independent witness that the sale has gone through. We also supply the necessary paperwork to be signed by both parties to transfer the ownership of the mobile home.

As this is a simple transfer of ownership, there is no Capital Gains Tax to pay, nor do you need to employ a lawyer to update any registries.
