ITV (Vehicle MOT)
All Spanish cars must pass an ITV (MOT) (Inspeccion Tecnica de Vehiculos) 4 years after purchase as new, then 2 years after that one, then yearly. You should receive a letter shortly before the inspection date giving you a suggested appointment.
To request an ITV you need to make an appointment, which can be done over the phone.
Only Spanish plated vehicles can go through the ITV process.
