Frequently Asked Question
How long does the site lease last for?
Legally, your mobile home is kept onsite as a caravan on a campsite. You pay for the lenght of time you wish to stay for in advance, or can be billed annually in advance (we offer a discount for annual payment in advance).
Your mobile home can stay onsite for as long as it is kept in a good condition or unless you are in serious breach of campsite rules.
Your rent is paid to the company that owns the campsite and land (ARK 90, s.l.) and as such you are guaranteed cover under Spanish law for your mobile home and site. The campsite is fully regulated by the Junta de Andalucia, with Campsite Registration Number AL01-0014, and we are investigated aprox. every 8 month in order to check that we are fully compliant with the law.
Please note that we cannot accept payments to a UK bank account. All payments are invoiced in Spain and must be paid in Spain. You will receive a factura de provision de servicios for all payments made for your ground rent.
While other sites may offer you “easy payments” to a UK company, this would mean you have no redress under Spanish law if you have an argument with the land owner!
